The GDPR module (7.x-1.0-alpha12) has a dependency that requires the Checklist API module which is no longer supported for Drupal 7. I would like to disable and delete this module. What can I do to GDPR so that it does not have the Checklist API dependency?

@mbenken → if you haven't done yet, you should start the process of migration away from D7 to D10 at least, if possible.
Checking the source code, the very latest D7 version 7.x-1.0-alpha12 still marks checklistapi as a requirement. Have you tried to install its latest stable version
