No location information in .ics with recurring events

Problem/Motivation

The setup for Add to Calendar Links under the Smart Date field includes a field for Location. If you have Smart Date recurring events, the Add to Calendar button does not include the Location information in the .ics file.

Steps to reproduce

In the Location field, put a static string. Create a Smart Date recurring event. On the event detail page, click Add to Calendar and then Outlook. The Outlook entry's Location field will be empty and if you open the .ics file in Notepad, it does not include the Location information.

Proposed resolution

Modify the code so that Location information is included in the .ics file when an event is recurring.

    Testing on the latest version of this module, I'm unable to reproduce this problem. The "Location" information is printed in the recurring event item.

    I suspect that this is a support request issue, stemming from the same ambiguity about how to set configure the display of recurring event links as reported in 💬 How to show the addtocal link for a recurring date? Closed: works as designed .

    If there are no subsequent comments about this being an issue through November 2023, I think this issues can be marked "Closed Outdated."
