Problem/Motivation

I work for a public sector body that has strict rules on the use of third party code, one of which is not to use anything marked as alpha/beta/development and so on. The most recent release of this module is marked as feature complete, maintenance fixes only - and was released on 4 October 2020 with no changes since. Can this alpha status be removed?

Also, this module is not covered by the Drupal security advisory policy as a result of the alpha status.

Proposed resolution

Create a 8.x-2.0 release without the alpha part in the name, no code change actually necessary.
