I have a splider in the wild that works well.

The one remaining issue is that I needed to add some padding to the splide__track so that when the active element was on the left or right, it didn't get cut off in a weird way.
But, even disabling that padding, the center doesn't seem quite centered... with just a hint of the latest slide showing a slice.
Some guidance on how to correctly style this so that:
