While working on the micro copy for eca i've created a model containing each and every template available in eca. so it also employs every event available which leads to a sort of overwhelmingly high and long model element in the model list in admin/config/workflow/eca.
question is if that is just a extremely rare and unlikely test edge case or if it is something that might also happen in a real world scenario (you dont know how users will set up their model - pack everything in a single one perhaps)? but never the less i wonder if it would make sense to take precautionary measures and limit the height of a model element in that list? so the first 3,4 5 or 6 events are displayed and then just a line stating something like "the model contains X more events"?

That is a very good idea. We talked about this UI on the Drupal Dev Days in Vienna. There wille be other requirements coming soon, like a search and filter function, warnings when some rather critical actions concerning permissions are used.
We collect those ideas and develop a design. This topic here will be integrated as well.
