Editors are unable to view unpublished nodes even if they have permission to.
Permission mode is enabled
Disable Node access is disabled
Editor creates a piece of content but leaves it unpublished
That item does not appear in the content list and can't be searched. So the editor can't edit the piece of content they created.
This issue is remedied by https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/962664 ✨ Taxonomy Index for unpublished entities Needs work
Would suggest adding it to the documentation or module page.
