Disabled state does not work on links of the week widget

Problem/Motivation

The week widget has links to add a new timeslot and to copy the values of the previous day. These links are not disabled if the field widget is disabled using #disabled or #states, which allows the user to indirectly alter the values.

Steps to reproduce

Add an office hours widget to a content form and disable it in an alter hook using #disabled or #states.
