Alter product variation

I want to alter a product variation. I tried many method but non work for me. I have created an view where i added a variation that contain price, description and name of variations drop down as the format set the 'Add to cart form' so the Add to cart and save for later also showing up in the view product: variation field.

Now I want to alter the 'name of variations' drop down means based on some condition I want to show only few name not all.
