Which gateways work?

Problem/Motivation

Can people share what combinations of gateways (+ patches?) work with commerce recurring? I tried Square, but the it doesn't store the card information, and the patch seems incomplete (last comment 15 days ago).

Looking into other gateways - that seems a common issue.

There are like 800 installations with drupal 8 - can folks share successful setups? I would be really grateful.

    From research as of 3/9/2023
    commerce_square does not support tokenization. It might if this patch is updated ✨ Support Customer and CustomerCard APIs for tokenized payment methods Needs work

    Maybe:
    paypal_subscriptions might. I am trying it now and will report back

    commerce_authnet
    commerce_braintree

    I have commerce_braintree working with Open Social. I have monthly recurring payments coming in.

    I confirm that Stripe is working. I successfully tried the card element payment method. Right now I am testing the payment element payment method. It seems to work with credit cards but not with other payment methods even if they are meant for off-session payments. For example failed my test with SEPA Direct Debit and Apple Pay.

    Did someone successfully use other Stripe payment methods ?
