Links in listing do not respect language of external entity

Problem/Motivation

Now that https://www.drupal.org/project/external_entities/issues/3018424 → is merged, we can have external entities in different languages. But the listing page does not add the current language to the links.

Steps to reproduce

  • Add 2 languages to a site
  • Configure an external entity and translate the mapping
  • Navigate to the listing page in the non-default language
  • The links will go to the external entity in the default language

Proposed resolution

The problem is that the external entities themselve do not have a language associated with them, and the language for the generated link will always be 'und'. Can we handle this with a mapping to language in the configuration of the external entity?
