It doesn't seem like the feature is on the branch. That would indeed be an amazing thing to have.
Creating an issue for ajax support. Switching view displays (blocks) via Ajax would greatly enhance the overall user experience.
I'm not a module developer, so wouldn't know exactly where to start. But figured it was worth mentioning.
