The changes made to 8.x-1.3 broke our multilingual support patches and the changes were irreconcilable without reverting.
I've rolled up a fix to the "Error: Call to a member function uuid() on null" change that was made in 8.x-1.3
so reverting the 8.x-1.3 changes and fixing the Error: Call to a member function uuid() on null.
cannot reproduce any working setup with 8.x-1.3
