Add option to disable link field URL validation

Problem/Motivation

We are using the Drupal core link field on a paragraph item. Users can add an unliminted number of paragraphs. The link field is optional. If someone adds in a bunch of paragraphs, and then adds another but mis-types, or fails to include the 'http://', when they hit 'save' on the node edit page, they lose all the unsaved paragraph data they had added.

Steps to reproduce

On a node edit form, add in a large number of referenced paragraph items that use the link field, mis-type a URL, then click save on the node edit form.

Proposed resolution

Remove the URL validation that occurs on the link field. If that's even possible? Or, have the validation occur right away the minute someone clicks off the URL field when they're doing their data entry.
