Document setting up Drupal in Docker to access Gatsby running on another Docker container

Problem/Motivation

(Why the issue was filed, steps to reproduce the problem, etc.)

It is handy to have a way to test and develop Gatsby previews and other features all locally without using remote servers to host Drupal and Gatsby. This solution will allow developers to not have to use Gatsby Live Preview for development.

Example case:

  • Drupal 9 running in DDEV (Docker solution)
  • Gatsby running in another ddev container

The need of this case is to be able to set the "Gastby Preview Server URL" at /admin/config/gatsby/settings to a path that allows Drupal to post to Gatsby.

Proposed resolution

(Description of the proposed solution, the rationale behind it, and workarounds for people who cannot use the patch.)

  • Test and confirm URL/solution that allows Drupal in ddev communicate with the Gatsby development environment
  • Complete documentation to add to the Project page β†’
