We are using default content to export menu items on a site. So I think this must be a feature that works.
I tried to export the menu_links and the group_content_menu using
default_content →
but the menu items are not attached to the menu after fresh install.
I noted that the menu_link yml files are not containing uuid to reference the menu but a machine name "group_content_menu-[id]" instead.
It would be great to integrate with default_content to export group's menu and their respective items.
