@dmudie Did you ever find a workaround for this? I'm in the same boat - performed a migration and trying to setup a View to see if all my captions came over.
Is there a way (hack or otherwise) to isolate the caption field in views? I don't want to use the "image caption" formatter but instead want the caption only. The caption is not available as a field. I also added a relationship to the image and the caption is still not available. Any help is appreciated. Thanks--
