This module is still relevant because of 🐛 Inline Blocks on Layout Builder Fail to Clone Correctly Needs work
The project page for this module states the following:
...if you copy a node with an inline block, you'd expect to get a copy of the inline block on the cloned node. A change to the block on the new node should not affect the block on the original page.
In our team's experience testing using the entity_clone module with Layout Builder, we did not experience any manifestations of the block on the cloned node affecting the block on the original page. Both inline blocks were able to be edited independently.
Given this, can the maintainers clarify what use case this module is addressing? Under what circumstances will an inline block on a cloned node affect the block on the original page, or vice versa?
