When Clone publication status of original? is unchecked, the publication status doesn't default to the content type default

Steps to reproduce

I have a multilingual node. In the definition of the content type, the publication status is default to unpublished and create a new revision

When "Clone publication status of original" is unchecked, when I clone a published node, it clones as published -not to unpublished, as it should.

If, before saving the clone, I uncheck the publish checkbox for the node, the default language remains unpublished but the translations of the node are published.

If I try cloning an unpublished node, though the checkbox "published" is checked, once saved, the default language is unpublished, but the translations are published.
