Fix undefined index: follow, follow_parent, label_type

Setting this to “Needs Work” so it gets attention on the patches. The better solution thing here would be null operator ??. Though this is 3 years old so I wonder if it's still relevant? Hopefully you could move this to an Merge Request if it's still relevant?

Unassigning this since leaving it assigned without active work can be misleading—it makes it look like it’s being worked on, preventing others from jumping in. Meanwhile, with the best intentions, the issue might end up forgotten.
