@falco010 - Thank you! This is working for me to get Select2 onto a Better Views Exposed sort filter / Drupal 9.5.7 / BEF 6.0.3 / Select2 8.x-1.15
The structure for exposed filters has changed when using filter operators and when you choose select2 in better exposed filters it doesn't render with select2.
Add a filter to your view with filter operators.
Adjust the code to count for the possibility of encountering regular filters or filters with operators.
