As push notifications are not part of the web page, we need to set the path alias(if exists) while registering the push notification.
When adding a new content, if suppose a pathauto pattern is defined for that particular content, when user clicks on the notification, tha page to which it redirects does not follow the pathauto pattern.
For Eg, if we have defined some pattern for Article content type, after configuring the notifications for Article Content Type, if we add any content in that content type the notification which is generated will not have the URL pattern which is defined in the pathauto instead it will be displayed as node/[nid]
