Change "Authored by" when editing a node change the uid of the node table but not the revision_uid of any revision on the revision table
Is that uid on the node table the initial version uid ?
that uid is contradictory with the initial revision or the last revision of the revision table depending what that node table uid shall be
I am struggling with the purge_users module that delete unexpected content.
i have the impression $user->delete in that module delete associated content depending on the initial revision uid , no matter if the author has been changed using the procedure below
Create a content
Edit the content and change the "Authored by"
Notice that regarding uids , table node_field_data has changed but not the node_revision table

Not all content is available!
It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
I just tested this and this is working by deisgned in my opinion.
The fact the revision is staying as the current user not the Authored by user is correct because it's still the current user who is doing the actual edit and creating the revision.
