Ability to target fields on parent

Proposed resolution

Allow for targeting parent fields, which may not always be allowed. The proposed solution is to allow to select the appropriate level up from a parent to target a field. The benefit of doing it this way is if you max out the parents, the target allows for any input selector passed through to the field_name.
