Ok, I'm starting to get the idea that aliases for Groups isn't supported. When I add an alias to a group manually (see this other issue 🐛 Automatic alias generation doesn't work for groups Closed: outdated ), clicking Create Topic fails.
Create an alias for a group manually.
Click Create Topic at /group/some_group_name/content/create/group_node%3Atopic.
Receive 404.
Decide if this should be supported. It would be great if groups could use aliases.
Work through the issues and make a patch.
