Can we see more details about the "Multi date" concept?

I'd be lovely to have a start-end multi date picker instead of two date fields.. showing the duration of the booking you are selecting.... just feels a bit "old fashioned" these days.. trying to keep up with tings like airbnb :) Anyone got a solution for me? Ideally one that doesn't involve me writing a module :)
