I started using Drupal 4 weeks ago, so iΒ΄m an absolut newbie. My first steps in understanding Drupal brought me to wonderful educational youtube videos where i was able to learn more n more about whats under the hood of Drupal. Now i want to set up the theme and have chosen this one. Thank you for providing your efforts.
My first step was creating the navbar and trying to set the right corporate colours. Therefor i thought i could change the values of the colors.css located under themename/css. I realized, that no change of any color there has an effect on the color picker in the theme-settings. So i tried to find out how it works, but with no real good result.
When i change the colors on the settings site of the theme (color picker or manual), all changes are written to themename/sites/default/files/color/themename-xxxxxxxx This is the file, which is loaded when displaying the page
But the colors.css in the theme folder never changes.
Since i want to keep all my changes inside my theme i am now editing the colors.css file in themename/sites/default/files/color/themename-xxxxxxxx manually and then i copy it to my theme folder.
What am i doing wrong, or is it a mistake by the theme?
Another thing i had was, that i had a lot of errors in the log, because i installed the theme in a "custom" directory (Newbie :-) and the preview.html has the line......"../../../themes/custom/themename/logo.svg" ...... without "custom" in it.
Hopefully, someone can give me a tip or can bring to the right path.... Thanks
