Setting a name field required does not add appropriate input attribute and class

Problem/Motivation

On 8.x-1.0-rc3, when a name field is set to be required, the required attribute and class is not added to the fields inputs in the markup. Tested on Drupal 8.9.13. The issue does not appear to occur on RC2.

Steps to reproduce

1. Enable the Name field module (8.x-1.0-rc3)
2. Add name field to any content bundle or contact form.
3. Examine field markup.
