Usually video providers allow to download a preview image. It would be nice to show the image before the user consents to load the video.
Add option per media type to "Download preview image". Then identify the provider and display the preview image to the user, e.g. like done here: https://git.drupalcode.org/project/gdpr_video/-/blob/1.0.x/js/gdpr_video...
