I try to update simplenews from 8.x.2 to 3.0.0-alpha (Drupal Core 8.9). When I try to run the database updates (I both tried drush updb and /update.php) I get the following error:
[error] Call to a member function delete() on null
[error] Update failed: simplenews_update_830001Did I do something wrong? What can I do to run the database updates succesfully?
