Condition plugin configuration does not save

Problem/Motivation

I am unable to save a condition plugin configuration in a plugin field.

Steps to reproduce

Drupal: 8.9.12
Plugin: 2.8

  • Install Drupal (Standard)
  • Install Plugin
  • Configure content type and add field of type "Plugin > Condition".
  • Cardinality does not play a role in this issue.
  • Create content of beforehand type and fill condition plugin field.
  • Save and go back to edit mode.
  • Settings made in condition plugin form are lost.
