Route "entity.entity_view_display.menu_link_content.default" does not exist.

Problem/Motivation

Just tried to test this module using simplytest.me.
On a clean Drupal-install without anything configured, only enabled menu_items_fields, I cannot add the Menu item Fields block provided by the module.
This error is thrown:

Symfony\Component\Routing\Exception\RouteNotFoundException: Route "entity.entity_view_display.menu_link_content.default" does not exist. in Drupal\Core\Routing\RouteProvider->getRouteByName() (line 208 of /var/www/html.original/core/lib/Drupal/Core/Routing/RouteProvider.php).

The route was being built in the help of the form when the block was being added.
