As part of Drupal 9 prep, and to bring this version of the module in line with Search API Solr 4.x, we should create the next release on a 4.x branch.
TODO:
- Check implications of 4.x semver on Drupal 8 and 9 installations. This should be fine.
- Create 4.x branch
- Update info.yml based on
#3161672: Module installation error →
to ensure proper composer installation.
- Roll a new React release and branch (4.x)
- Test the 4.x branch against Drupal 9.1
- Roll a formal release.
