How to style appearance of a node?

Problem/Motivation

Barrio's default node layout is not what I want. I am unable to figure out how to change it.

Take a look at the screendump below. It is an article displayed just after installing Barrio 5.1.4 on a Drupal 8.9.7 website

The text "Log in or register to post comments" is displayed just below the title. I want it positioned below the body. I understand that I need to tweak some CSS to fix that, but what file do I tweak and how do I ensure that my tweaks are not overwritten by the next update?

Also, I have specifically requested the tag label to be inline in "Manage display", but it still displayed above the tags.

Edit: I set up my second website today using Bootstrap Barrio as its theme, following the exact same procedure as my previous one, and for this site "Log in or register to post comments" is displayed below the body (where I want it). This strongly suggest that the is something in Bootstrap Barrio that controls the placement. So far, I has been unable to figure out what it is.

Steps to reproduce

Install and activate the theme and subtheme, and just create some content and some tags.

The erroneous tag label placement is reproducable.

The placement of "Log in or register to post comments" cannot be reproduced if one starts from scratch with the latest version of the module, however, upgrading from a previous version to the latest does not fix the problem.

Proposed resolution

Add how to fix this to the theme's documentation.
