The current functionality works great bus does not support the use of browser history. When, for example, a user visits a news list page, uses the pager, and clicks on one of the items the 'back' button will take the user back to the list page but the page only shows the initial items.
Add an extra option to the settings to 'activate' the add the pager pages to the browser history. This can be done with History.pushState().

I have some experience with "browser history" and it is really shit. Needs more testers for this patch
Ported and tested changes from #9 to the v2 branch. This method seems to work as intended (in combination with the views_ajax_history module). Patch for changes in v2 branch attached.
Patch from #12 does not apply on v2.0.2. Attached patch does apply on v2.02.
Needs testing though :-).
