Views table header being replicated

Problem/Motivation

When i "load more", i get the next page of results; but the table column headigns are included in the 2nd set of results.

As far as i can tell this is not a setting anywhere. Also, to make this more odd.. i have a generic D8 bartik site set up and this works correctly. But on the project i am working on (even if i switch it to Bartik); the issue shows up.

Obviously a lot of differences between my generic D8 site and the project site; but wondering if any pointers as to what could be breaking this. Version of jQ, core version, anything that would impact this?

Generic site is: 8.9.3
Project site: 8.8.8
