Can't upgrade to version 3.0

Problem/Motivation

I can't get version 8.x-3.0 to install.

Steps to reproduce

Using composer I run composer require 'drupal/recaptcha:^3.0'

After running the command I get:

Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.

  Problem 1
    - Installation request for drupal/recaptcha_extra ^2.0 -> satisfiable by drupal/recaptcha_extra[2.0.0].
    - Can only install one of: drupal/recaptcha[3.x-dev, 2.x-dev].
    - Can only install one of: drupal/recaptcha[3.0.0, 2.x-dev].
    - Conclusion: install drupal/recaptcha 2.x-dev
    - Installation request for drupal/recaptcha ^3.0 -> satisfiable by drupal/recaptcha[3.x-dev, 3.0.0].

Installation failed, reverting ./composer.json to its original content.
