Recurring events append date in url

Problem/Motivation

Hi, so I am building a event booking system and I am using this nice module for events calendar. Everything is working great so far. But for recurring events I cannot get the date of the select event, I mean lets say I have a recurring event to repeat every friday til some end date in November and user selected the 2nd of October for this event which is the next Friday when the user is redirected to the detail page of the event there is currently no way to know which date the user selected from calendar.

Proposed resolution

I would really like have the current date appended in the event url so when users selects that date and they are redirected to the event detail page I would have the date as well for which they want the booking to be made. So on calendar the urls of the events would go something like this;

/node/123?date=2020-09-25
Just the date would be helpful I can get the timings from the node itself as that would be same for all days.

Please see the attached screenshot to give you a better idea of what I requesting.

If there is any way to achieve this quickly rather than waiting for the next release that would be super helpful as I am a little short on time.
