I had a problem with a live deployment in that drush stopped working. I needed to rebuild permissions - but was unable to use the normal Rebuild Permissions button as this module had disabled it.

Remove code which is disabling this button. May be enhance the message on this page to something like:
"Since the node_access_rebuild_progressive module is installed you have the option to run the rebuild using the drush command:
$ drush node-access-rebuild-progressive
This may be preferable for large datasets as running on the command line is more stable than running the rebuild as a batch process in a browser."
