Status message for redirect option still displayed after all documents accepted

Problem/Motivation

We are in the process of updating some of our legal documents for the first time and we've been testing with the existing-users-need-to-accept setting set to redirect.

Steps to reproduce

After accepting the last updated legal document, the "You need to accept this document" message still continues to be displayed on the page the user is then redirected to. The message can be cancelled and doesn't appear again after that. Also, the message is not displayed on pages other than the first one the user is redirected to, but the message is still there when one goes back to that first page.

Overall this makes it confusing to users when there aren't any more documents to accept.
