Hide field when prepopulated

I am using module field groups and there is html element.

I have created css like hide { display:none; } and used that as html element for field group. Just add field which you need to hide to that field group element and it is hidden.

Should we take it as a feature request, and proceed with the development or just try alternatives as mentioned.

It is up to you I still think that this module should be deprecated. There is much better alternative Entity Prepopulate → .

I used to use this Prepopulate module, but once EPP was developed, this one was uninstalled very next day. I do not see any advantage of this module anymore.
