If you select options and then limit list to selected items the preview shows that it worked but on save you will get a whitescreen of death and this error will log:
InvalidArgumentException: The configuration property display.default.display_options.filters.csc_enhance_filter_field_countries_country.value.11 doesn't exist. in Drupal\Core\Config\Schema\ArrayElement->get() (Zeile 76 in /homepages/5/d25792430/htdocs/www/conval/web/core/lib/Drupal/Core/Config/Schema/ArrayElement.php).
11: is the first selected item in the list in this example.
