Redirect loop during installation with non-English

I'm getting redirect loop, when I try to pick other installation language than the default english.

When I change the language to english, it redirects normally to another step as normal, however installation through the CLI, (drush, php core/scripts/drupal) works as expected.

There haven't been new reports of this problem in about 2 years, which is after 🐛 PCRE library version 10.35 with pcre.jit=1 makes \Drupal\Core\StringTranslation\Translator\FileTranslation::getTranslationFilesPattern() regex misbehave Fixed was committed. It would appear that this is fixed, and is a duplicate of that issue as suggested in #45.

Therefore, I am closing this as a duplicate and moving credit over there.

If you are experience this problem and have changed the default translation directory that is being fixed in ✨ Make translations directory configurable during install Needs work .

If you are experiencing this problem on a supported version of Drupal reopen the issue, by setting the status to 'Active', and provide complete steps to reproduce the issue → (starting from "Install Drupal core").
