Everywhere (64 out of 65 languages) is the same except for the German language.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
I also ran into this, where æ ø å in Danish isn't transliterated quite right in English.
FYI I have created an MR which suggests to 🐛 Danish characters ø and å are not transliterated correctly Active , and I believe this is a Drupal core Transliteration issue, so moving it. But feel free to restore placement, if not correct :)
