Work together, avoid duplication?

I recently used this module, and found it extremely useful. I did need some additional tweaks, and wrote a custom module to make the additional modifications I needed. I was also concerned to see the comment in #3037597: No expand/collapse behavior → that a future version would require Bootstrap.

That said, I do think it would be better if we could avoid having similar, competing projects. If you'd be up for it, I would propose:

• Making the open/close behaviour part of a submodule that requires Bootstrap
• Adding the additional configuration options to this module
