When you use this module in a view along with Better Exposed Filters → and if you want the exposed form of this field to go into the secondary options offered by BEF, that is not possible.
This is due to the fact that BEF offers this option to 'filters' and 'sorts' whereas this module provides a 'field'.
Attached patch provides an option to move this exposed form into the secondary options
