On my site, click on the links in the main menu to automatically scroll the page to a defined position. To click on the button go back to the top. There is a blockage then it goes up.
The module does not seem to work properly if scroll-behavior: smooth; is set to html.

I've encountered this same issue, and I've created a patch to work around it for the time being.
all it does is setscrollBehavior to auto on the HTML tag when it starts scrolling and removes the scrollBehavior style when it stops or cancels scrolling
