Add documentation

I tried to get this working with Search API yesterday, but couldn't get the nodes to get indexed ...

It would be great with some documentation, outlining the minimum of steps, required to get it up and running.

I would love to add the basic documentation and required step to get it running but currently I am struggling with getting this to work and hence was hunting for documentation :) can any one help with the same.

I have created a search view, added an exposed filter on the field search fulltext, but then I search with any keyword no results are generated; but I can see multiple json files getting generated so seems I was able to properly configure search api and doing something wrong with views.

Adding a Search API JavaScript Back-end server and index and navigating to /js-search/{server}/{index} is not enough to have a search page with immediate fuzzy results. The keyvaluepairs are indeed indexed in the browser, but the search form is not producing results with this minimal set-up.
