Add a field for header/footer area

I tried applying the patch, however, the cumulative results doesn't seem to be working.

I have a view that counts the number of projects according to a specific Drupal Version. The footer cumulative results is incorrect. See below:

Ive been using this patch successfully on a salary field for about three years now. It doesnt look to me like the gif is calculating on the correct field since the version numbers arent integers. Maybe the id?
