This issue was detected in Drupal 8.8.2. However, it exist in the older versions as well.
How the issue was noticed or reproduce the bug:
1. Create any content type and provide the menu link.
2. Preview the content
3. Close the page but do not save the content.
4. Now when you check the menu bar, you will see the link being created which needs to be removed by navigating to the Menu.
Expected Behaviour :
The expectation was that the menu link shouldn't be created since the content was not saved though previewed.
Actual Result:
Unwanted menu link is being created automatically when viewed in preview mode even though the content was not saved.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
I am closing this support request as it has been answered (even if the answer is What described in the issue summary does not seem caused by the Ubercart module.).
There have not been any reply to the previous comment too.
