Drupal is a global project, with contributors in every country in the world.
When considering how to provide funding tools on projects, we need to consider if the funding services we link to provide service to our users. For example, open collective only supports USD, EUR, CAD, MXN, GBP and AUD. 17% of our Drupal core contributions came from people who use INR.
Consider also how the funds are transferred. For example, PayPal is not available in all countries.
